Entrepreneurship: The Race to Freedom

Entrepreneurship: The Race to Freedom

Money Revealed guest Mike Dillard knows a few things about business. After all, Mike built an eight-figure company all while waiting tables at the age of 27… And from there, he continued to create one successful venture after another. Today, he spends his time helping people achieve what he’s found in his work as an entrepreneur: Freedom.

Mike knows what makes an entrepreneur tick — it’s not the desire to make a lot of money and it’s more than just the drive to be the best at what you do.

What pushes the entrepreneur forward is the desire for freedom

The freedom to create, the freedom to bring something new to the table that will have a positive impact on others and the freedom to live the life that you want to live.

And that’s why Mike is devoted to helping others see their dreams come true. He’s passionate about helping others reach their potential, and today thousands of entrepreneurs have used the information in Mike’s classes to reach their goals and turn their vision of a better future into a reality.

What’s the secret to his success?

The road to success looks different for everyone… but Mike does have a few tips that he shares in his interview:

If you’re stuck, go master a new skill.

It happens to the best of us… we end up in a place where we feel stuck, unsure on how to move forward. It can be frustrating, but you can break free!

One way to move forward is to master a new skill… and by master, Mike means “learn it to the point where you can write a book about it.” That’s the place where you really know you’ve got it down.

Gain control over your emotions when it comes to money.

According to Mike, “Making money and keeping money are two very different skill sets.”

There’s a lot of truth to that… not to mention money can be an emotional thing. Feeling like you don’t have enough can throw you into the scarcity mindset, but overspending can quickly ruin your budget. Start learning the skills to protect your finances now.

Make a plan and stick to it.

Remember that it’s all about the people.

If you’re going to have a successful business, it’s got to be about the people.

When you look at your idea it should be from an altruistic perspective. And know that along the way you’re going to need to develop the skills to be a good listener and a good leader.

You might start out focused on the product, but as you grow it’s going to be about leading a great team of people who will help you achieve your dreams.
